What makes an ageless Bollywood star?

It is all in the eyes, and personality. Most of the Bollywood fans today think it’s all in the looks, height and body, which is the most illuisonative point one could make. Why is it that fans, still, today would go see Shah Rukh Khan’s film rather than John Abraham’s film? Why not Salman Khan’s film over SRK films? And I am talking about the majority, not just the fan base; the reason is simple, SRK has the personality, voice and eyes to grasp the audiences attention. When one has the picture of Amitabh Bachchan or Shah Rukh Khan’s picture on the poster, the film is automatically bound to make more than 20 crore. Which brings me to my next point. What happened to the Bollywood posters? The classic calling card for any movie? I do understand we have moved into the dotage, but, do we have to abandon our culture because of it? After all, what would world be like without our classic culture if were to get lose in Steve Job’s IPad or mark zuckerberg’s Facebook, where most of the movies are now being promoted. Even IMDB on longer holds a powerful stand in Hollywood or Bollywood due to new plains of communication and promotion are coming out every week. But, seeing those classic movie ‘Art’ posters is something no one will loose appreciation of. Like how having a feeling of holding a book, than reading it on a Kindle or Ipad will always be more special than these gizmos.

My favorite movie posters of all time. Did you notice something? They all have one thing in common.
Ageless Bollywood stars.
