Welcome to the newly revamped website of Bollywood Movies, and Independent films of Hollywood.
We are currently in works for our most ambitious project "Aaya Dulhania Ko Layne", starring Kapiel Raaj and Rashi Stephens. The film will be shot in India and United States.
We are in the business of producing not just Bollywood Films, but also independent Hollywood Films. I, Kapiel Raaj as the operating CEO of Raj Films, have one goal, to make only very, very selective films, and not turn my production company into a chopshop of most Bollywood studios and production comapnies. Our Bollywood movies 2011 list will be out soon as well, as we have several Hindi Film projects in works. Our Indian Film Company is also producing a Horror Film in 2012.
Bollywood Movies are passion of mine, (Kapiel Raaj) I don't just have a natural passion for making films and writing stories, but its a God's given gift since birth. My mission isn't to be number 1 in any kind of industry, such as bollywood, hollywood or novel writing. My mission is to be the best at each one of my projects. I am sure many actors, and filmmaker across the world, or, in Mumabi strive to be either the next Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Yash Chopra, Subhash Ghai or Karan Johar. I do not want any part of that mentality, especially since I have matured not just in age, but within my soul. I do want to make films like Yash Chopra and Karan Johar, but I want to set a unique standard in filmmaking, and producing quality, yet family oriented films. Bollywood movie business needs a new restructuring.
Our new Independent films' company has just produced a homage to Michael Mann's movie Collateral. I am a huge fan of Michael Mann and his work, and when I saw the movie Collateral, I fell in love with the story, the cast and the filmmaking process because Michael Mann finally paved the way for making good films at a low production cost. His use of the new red camera, and minimal required lighting gave new low budget filmmakers to show their talent and be appreciated by not just a small crowd but a huge one. Not only the filmmaking factor, but having my favorite actor Tom Curise in it made it even better. Although the Gorillafilmmaker Robert Rodriguez was the first to make huge amount of money from his low budget film El Mirachi, Michael Mann made it official. Even though Independent films or Indie films tend to get a bad wrap, the new emerging, and affordable technology is revolutionizing the entire film industry. But even still many young and talented filmmakers in India can not afford a decent production house, because of the economical factor, and even though many independent films have come out of bollywood, they are not nearly as well presented as other Independent films from Europe, USA, and many other countries. The only way young Indian filmmakers will make it, if the educational system was more open to wide varieties of lectures and talks; like films 101 at a community college. Bollywood movies now entering to superhero film era, still have a lot to learn; especially in the process of script writing and CG. The hype of Krrish 1 and Krrish II was vanished from people's hearts within weeks of their release, and now the new Bollywood Movie Ra. One starring Shahrukh Khan is trying to follow in the footsteps of such films including Robot starring Rajni Kant, which was no were near the production quality of even a average super hero film of Bollywood.
